- Our 10 year old 5k Generator isn’t very efficient 🙁 So, still no power, and no water. I hope to get the well pump online this afternoon. #
- Ugh, this looks like this is going to be a crappy week. #
- Need Propane refill and gas for the generator, judging by traffic outside the adventure after work will be just that, an adventure. #
- @nixguy There are so many outages this locks up my Firefox :/ #
- New plan to get well pump online via generator. News at 11… Of course this assumes one can find gas for generator. Emergencies Suck. #

Twitter Updates for 2008-09-14
- Burn Notice is predictable as hell. Still fun to watch though. #
- Free conference room table for the taking: http://cincinnati.craigslist.org/fuo/840328611.html Come and get it. #
- It’s windy as hell today, which will put a damper on some of my outside activities for today. #
- Well that didn’t take long, the conference room table is gone. #
- We have no electricity that means no ps3, no internet, no tv, no ac. What are we going to do? #
- Having no electric sucks, means no water too. Trees are down everywhere. #
Twitter Updates for 2008-09-13
- Signing up for twitter cause it’s supposed to be cool… I fail to see the attraction but maybe it will grow on me. We’ll see. #
- Mr . Smith makes a great micro brew! #
- Winding down from maintenance night. Yeah some companies actually do that 🙂 #
- So far iphone is 2.1 seems like a good thing. Battery life is much improved. #
- Call of Duty is still an addiction. #
- Morning Soccer… Maria’s team wins 3-2, they are now 1-1-1. Halley was MVP scoring all 3 goals, and making 3 fabulous saves as goalie. #
- Week 4 of ? Cleaning out the big barn… More crap to the curb for the recycle junkies. #
- Excellent, more baby stuff in storage that we didn’t know we had so we bought new. A Car seat and a Swing. I’m sure there’s more. #
- Soccer game number #2 of the day, some girls played hard, some girls hardly played… They’d be running laps if I was coach. #
South Beach Meat Loaf…
Today’s lunch is South Beach Meat Loaf.
This is your standard 2-item heat and eat meal. Preparation is simple, pull that sucker out of the box and zap it. No cutting, poking, slicing or venting required.
The depth of the tray would lead you to believe you’re getting more to eat than you are. You’d also think given the depth, they’d be able to keep the veggies where they belong.
Taste is OK, but not great, portion size is deceiving. I’m not sure what this costs but I’d pick the Healthy Choice or Lean Cuisine over these meals.
South Beach Living Meat Loaf and Green Beans
Category | Rating (1-10) with 10 being the best. |
Notes |
Portion Size | 7 | Overall a decent portion size. But could be a little better. |
Portability | 9 | Fits fairly well in a small soft sided thermal lunch box. You still have room for snacks and what-not. Nice and compact. |
Cookability | 9 | The time indicated on the box is spot on. 5 Minutes to Lunch. |
Preparation | 9 | Drop dead simple, just cook it. |
Food Quality *Taste* |
6 | I realize taste is subjective, but the meat was rather bland. |
Over ALL Score | 40 | out of a possible 50 isn’t just barely tolerable. |
