Jumping out of a perfectly good airplane.

For those that are not aware, my daughter Maggie has been sky diving since the fall of 2015.ย Due to a few events in her life, she decided she wanted experience as many things as should could. She would not be held back and she would not wait around on anyone else. She took a tandem sky dive as part of her #pearladventures tour and fell in love with it and has been sky diving ever since.

So fast forward to June 12th, 2016. That’s the day that her sister Molly had scheduled her first tandem sky dive and I was there just to observe.

If you’re not aware, a tandem skydive simply means you don’t need any skills or training. You get harnessed up and strapped to an instructor. Ideally, someone who’s done this before ๐Ÿ™‚ So you get the full effect without having to do any work.

We took some photos of Maggie on Saturday.   Sort of Senior photos phase 1.

Sheโ€™s all grown up and stuff.

Maggie on the Piano

Maggie wrapped up the recital on Sunday and did very, very well.

Sorry about the poor vid/sound.  Used the Canon camera, not video camera.

Thompson Clan Christmas 2006

As usual, food was plentiful and nobody went hungry.

Santa made his appearance, (later than planned) but that was OK. I don’t care who you are, you’re never to old for Santa ๐Ÿ˜‰

Kris won the Euchre tournament, and also our one game of Texas Holdem. However, Maggie came in second, and in the money ๐Ÿ˜‰ defeating her brother, mother and father in the process.

Lots of fun was had. Photos are posted in the Dishers Gallery on Google [Click Here]

Maybe next year we can get the whole clan together again.

Kudos to Claudine for all the baking, Angie the ham was delicious and so where the hankypanks.
