Chirstmas Eve & Christmas Day

Today we spend the day at the In-laws. We’re about to head out.

We’ll watch the Bengals hand it to the Buffalo Bills at 1pm

Who-Dey!

Then hang out, have dinner, play games, and wait to open presents. Should be a good time. I’m coming down woth a cold, no good, but I’ll live. Christmas Day morning will be the usual, here at the Disher house. Kids will wake up, open presents, and we’ll play with everything until the afternoon. We’ll then head over to Grandma’s house and have dinner and see what Santa left over there.

Photos will be taken an posted in a couple days.

Merry Chirstmas everyone.

My Job and why I don’t blog about it.

I have been asked a couple times why I don’t blog about my job.

Well, it’s not because I don’t want too, and it’s not because there isn’t plenty to blog about.

The reality though is that I have to act grown up at work to some degree, and publicly blogging about work simply wouldn’t be prudent.

In some ways that’s a shame too because it’s a really great place to work. There are also plenty of amazing and down right unbelievably hilarious things I could write about, but I’ll save those for later.

In any event, we are hiring. If you’re in the area (greater Cincinnati or Tri-State I suppose) and/or don’t mind relocating.

You should check out our job postings. Hit the career page at www.seapine.com

I know we need a few marketing types, a coordinator and public relations person. [Word to the wise, if you can’t write, don’t even think about applying, apparently a lot of people apply for marketing positions that can’t write. It’s not my department or anything, but, you know, people talk and you hear things…]

We’re also looking for software engineers and quality assurance engineers as well. Yes we do need QA people even though there doesn’t seem to be a monster.com ad for one.

If you think you might be a fit, drop a resume right away.

Maggie Basketball Update

The Lady Eagles came up 4 points short tonight in a well faught game at Sports Plus.

All in all that was pretty darn amazing considering they had 5 girls against a Loveland team with a full bench. 🙂

A couple girls are sick, one has a broken arm and one was just missing in action.

Maggie is comming along nicely, this is her 4th game overall and she’s just now starting to get a feel for where she’s supposed to be. Some of these teams are uber competitive. Nothing like jumping in with both feet 🙂
