Matthew was all about Santa.

Santa and Mrs. Clause read the children a book. Something about trying to outsource labor and replace the elves. They tried dragons, they tried polar bears and other workers but it just didn’t work out.

Not real sure what the moral of the story was.

We all sang Jingle Bells with Santa, then Matthew wanted to sing a song…

Of course his favorite Christmas song was “Bad Boys, Bad Boys, whatcah gonna do”

Everyone was there except for my slacker Canadian cousins

Peyton and Matthew learning about Santa’s magical keys.

Thompson Clan Family Xmas for 2007

It came and went last weekend. Everyone in the family was in attendence and accounted for except Lisa/Hugh/Ben/Megan.

As usual there wasn’t a shortage of food.

Santa paid a visit for the kids and we had the adult’s steal a gift thing.

As usual, food was plentiful and nobody went hungry.

Santa made his appearance, (later than planned) but that was OK. I don’t care who you are, you’re never to old for Santa

Kris won the Euchre tournament, and also our one game of Texas Holdem. However, Maggie came in second, and in the money defeating her brother, mother and father in the process.

Maybe next year we can get the whole clan together again.

Kudos to Claudine for all the baking, Angie the ham was delicious and so where the hankypanks.
