Solomon Wickey
My wife and I and a couple friends of ours went to see Solomon this morning. My wife had been to see him a couple times before.
If you don’t know who Solomon is, you could start by taking a look at this book that was written about him: Solomon’s Touch.
I had been looking forward to this trip to meet Mr. Wickey since my wife had gone to visit him and today was my opportunity. We drove up yesterday (Sunday) and spent the night in Auburn, IN.
Visiting Mr. Wickey is the one place in life it doesn’t pay to be early. You need to be right on-time. 6:05am is a good time.
We had emailed a couple weeks prior according to the instructions. We made darn sure we weren’t early. I can appreciate not wanting people lining up at my driveway while I’m waking up and getting ready to do my days work. Heck I can barely stand it when people turn around in my driveway.
Anyway, I personally haven’t been a big fan of alternative medicine. My family, specifically my mother’s side has always embraced herbs, and natural remedies. I don’t really have a problem with those. I know for a fact that aloe works, break open a plant and put it on a cut or a burn and good things happen. However, there have been other herbal remedies I’ve used or tried in the past that haven’t been so helpful. But hey, not everything works for everyone all the time right? Some people (me thankfully) don’t get poison ivy by simply touching it, others like my cousins only have to look at it and they are done.
Quite possibly my worst ever experience with a “holistic or alternative??? healer was a local homeopathic MD. Anyway, I used to suffer from hives at various times for no apparent reason. When I’d get them I’d get them bad. On my hands and feet, neck, head, and waist, I could barely walk and it, well, it wasn’t pleasant. Normally when this happens, I rush to the family DR. and get cortisone shot to clear it up. Benadryl, well I’m pretty much immune to that stuff now.
Anyway to cut to the chase, I started to get hives (yes, if you get them you know what I’m talking about, you feel it, a few hours before they show up the area will start to itch and burn) and went to this alternative medicine guy. He asks me if I’m ready to get rid of them for good. “Well heck yeah, don’t just stand there, give me the potion???. He gives me something to put under my tongue. I then over the next couple hours proceeded to get the worst case of hives in my entire life. I mean, I almost volunteered to be put down. It didn’t take long to get back to the cortisone again. Now days I just don’t get them anymore, or it’s very rare, when I do it’s clearly a reaction to something. Usually a medication I’ve taken. But that’s not what this post is about.
Circling back to today and my visit with Dr. Wickey…
When you arrive, even at 6:05pm, be reasonable as you wait for things to get started. People aren’t awake yet. Even is Mr. Wickey is, he’s probably having breakfast. Have some sense. Don’t yell in the parking lot. Heck some of us visitors aren’t even fully awake yet.
Oh, and do go to the bathroom before you head out. They have facilities there, but just trust me on this.
Dave (the bouncer guy) who volunteers his time to organize the chaos will, as is reported else where, will put you at the end of the line if you get there early or cause a ruckus. You know, you’ve traveled this far, why go and mess it up?
When you arrive, your name will be put on a list, or if you’re smart enough to email ahead, you’ll be on the list already so there is no rush to be early. If you’re not smart enough to not go early, well you’ll get in when you deserve to get in.
When the office opens names are called in the order that they appear on the list. This isn’t necessarily the order you showed up, again, no need to race there.
Mr. Wickey’s office is very modest but clean. Neat actually, heated and lit by gas lights. (he is Amish after all). When you get to see him you’ll get as much time with him as you need. Have a list ready. Write down what you want to discuss with him or have him look at you, or in you for and heal you of.
It’s really that simple. You sit down in a chair across from him and he does his thing.
Mr. Wickey doesn’t charge for his services. He may recommend herbal remedies or treatments, and you can and probably should buy them from him. My wife has ordered and bought plenty of “wholesale’ herbs and spices over the internet and in bulk and even she couldn’t believe the prices.
Now, for every article on the Internet that says iridology is bogus, there’s one that says it’s not. I’ve read the article “Confessions of a Former Iridologist???. I’ve seen and used herbs that work; I’ve seen and used herbs that didn’t.
The thing is this, Mr. Wickey has a gift. I’ve now seen it. There are fewer more skeptical people on this planet than myself. Now what does that mean? Nothing really if you want to be sure, you need to go yourself.
He has healed family members, and in the near future I hope to be able to further testify to his gift.
Is Solomon Wickey a joke? Nope. Is he a scam? Nope. It costs you nothing to see him. If you want an appointment you’ll have to wait months, like 6 months, or visit on a walk in day like we did.
He does this because it’s his calling. What more can I say?

My sister’s email is down but her husband is very sick. He has cancer and they have said that he cannot take anymore medicine. We heard about Mr. Solomon and want to bring her husband to see him. We have got to figure out a way to get him there if he is able. Can we get an appointment, and if so when? Cliff cannot stand because he is so weak but we are willing to make the effort. My Grandmother is 80 years old and has been having a very bad in her abdomen/groin area, she has been to pain centers, tried numerous pain meds, shots, experiemental surgery’s etc. No one and nothing can help. She has seen, urologist, gynecologist, neurologist and they all tell her that they can not help her. she gets around great with the exception of this pain. She has 3 children, and 13 great grand grandchildren that she enjoys spending time with along with church, quilting, and playing cards. It really upsets me to her someone of her age who can drive, and still enjoy her life when she is not having this flare up say “sometimes I wish I would die” this is how unbearable the pain is. Please is there anyway you can help her? We can make sure she gets to Auburn IN, but can you please tell me what is the best quickest way to get her in? -
We were told by doctors last week that our precious 3 year old son would not survive his battle with brain cancer. After tumor resection, 32 high dose radiation treatments and 4 months of high dose chemo, there was nothing left that they could do for him. The cancer was back and our world was turned upside down as his body became frail by the minute.
Today we were blessed to meet with Mr. Wickey and we give thanks to our Lord for a beautiful renew of hope and faith. Thank you David!

I met with David yesterday. He was very gracious to stop by and see me while he was in the area, kind of last minute.
He is very kind and gentle. He has a calming presence about him. Looking forward to seeing him more in the Future

I have been suffering from headaches for many years. In the past couple of years they have worsened and I was frequently getting migraines. I had an appointment with Solomon last Tuesday. I can honestly say I have gone 1 week without a headache. There are no words to express how very thankful I am. Solomon is Heaven sent!!!! Thank you so very much!!!

Would it be possible to get an appt. between Aug. 1-7, 2010? If not, then I will take whatever/whenever Mr. Wickey is available. My sister is in town that week and she could drive me. I have fibromyalgia and a small cancerous growth in one of my lymph nodes. I do not want to do chemo or radiation and have been looking for alternative treatments because I believe that God made the body to heal itself of disease (with some help).I look forward to hearing from you soon.

I went to see Solomon with a family yesterday. The father has brain cancer. Solomon was quick to recognize the cause. He and his assistant did some “tapping” and told him to quit his chemo and go home. He would be fine.
How do I support the family in making such a transition from traditional medical care (which is killing him) to a natural healing approach? I totally believe that the problem has been taken care of just by the feelings I was getting at the time.
My role with the family is that of a Reiki Practitioner.

David, I saw Solomon several years ago when I lived in Ohio and would like to see him again or you, if I gather correctly from reading the emails that you do what he does also. I now live in North Carolina, though, so it will be more difficult to get to Indiana. Since moving here my allergies have become dramatically worse – I have had a constant headache for 5 months with constant nausea and malaise. Any kind of medicine just makes me feel worse. I already had fibromyalgia and chronic fatigue before that which has become much worse in past 3 years and I’m finding it very difficult to cope because of constant pain and fatigue. I went to see Solomon this morning. I was in a car accident about 5 years ago. I have a severe neck injury for which I have had two surgery’s. I suffer with chronic pain. Have been told I have fibramyalgia, and planter faciaitis. I suffer with mild depression from time to time as a result, and have been taking large amounts of advil for the pain. Resulting in an entire host of other issues.
Solomon told me I had a severe concussion that have caused brain injuries. When he concluded he just said “ok, thats it” I was a little stunned and just replied “that’s it?” and he said “yes, that’s it.” The way he said it gave me an uneasy feeling, but being uncomfortable and unsure of his meaning I just got up and went out.
He did not recommend any herbs or offer any diagnosis. As I drove home my imagination started working overtime. I don’t know what to think. I am unsure of what his words meant. Can you offer me any insignt?

I saw Solomon in 2005 after 6 months of interferon and multiple chemotherapies and immunotherapy. I used the “cancer diet” he suggested and give it a lot of credit for me still being here. My oncologist at the research center said that cancer must have sugar to survive, so the diet makes a lot of sense. Although the diet is very strict, it’s far better than suffering through chemotherapy.
David, I met you while there as well. Thank you both and keep up the good work.

I wrote something on here a few wks ago and just returned to see any comments. I can’t find my post, so I’ll ask again. I believe in Solomon and he’s helped “me” and “others” I know, but 3 things have puzzled me.(1) One lady with cancer went to him after chemo, etc. He told her she never had cancer–it was a spleen problem and said she would be fine–she died shortly thereafter.. (2) Solomon was treating my friend for cancer–she was on the cancer diet, etc.–then told her she never had cancer–she had scleroderma–she went back to her chemo because she was getting worse?? (3) Solomon told another lady she didn’t have cancer and the
following week she had brain surgery for a malignant tumor??? I’ve had people tell me he cured them of cancer–I still believe in him—any ideas on what happened with my three friends?? Thanks…I’m not bashing Solomon, I’d like some opinions….David–what do you think??? -

I have been sick for the past 2 years and seen just about every type of Dr there is. I have had sugery and 2 week later ended up in ICU. I am still sick. I am having problems with my blood pressure bottoming out. I never really have any warning. I am fatigued all the time. I have no appetite and have lost over 20 pounds in the past few months. I have had just about every lab and urine test imagininable. I am on too many meds. for my age. I am now suffering from depresstion. Do you think Mr. Wickey can help me? the Drs will not release me to do my work, so I could come at any time.
